Privacy Policy for Nowonacra Research

Nowonacra Research is a lightweight Android application created by Nowonacra to display public updates, research notes, software links, and related Nowonacra web pages.

The app does not require user registration, does not ask users to create an account, and does not intentionally collect personal information from users.

Information displayed in the app

The app reads public update entries from a Firebase Cloud Firestore collection named nowonacra_updates.

These entries may include a title, description, timestamp, and optional URL. This information is created and managed by Nowonacra and is shown to users inside the app.

WebView content

The app may open Nowonacra websites inside an in-app WebView. These websites may use standard web technologies required for normal page loading and functionality. Users may also choose to open links that point to public Nowonacra pages.

Data collection

Nowonacra Research does not intentionally collect, store, or share personal user data through the Android app.

The app does not use account login, location access, contacts, camera, microphone, advertising identifiers, or payment features.

Third-party services

The app uses Firebase Cloud Firestore to read public update content. Firebase services may process technical information necessary to deliver and secure the service, according to Google Firebase’s own terms and privacy practices.

Data sharing

Nowonacra Research does not sell user data and does not share personal user data with advertisers or data brokers.

Children’s privacy

Nowonacra Research is not designed specifically for children. The app is intended as a public research and project archive.
